Regional Meeting in Paris, France, November 19-22, 2009
                         Republicans Abroad France
                          Stuart Haugen, Chairman
                                                                                                 More information to follow...

From Global Chairman, Chris Fussner
Things are hectic in Washington, DC... Just returned to Singapore after several weeks in the US. Visited friends and attended lots of meetings. We have lined a series of events and conferences beginning in August in the Far East and we are in the process of organizing the Leadership Series teleconferences.
In the meantime, Republicans Abroad Radio is still offering weekly shows bringing our members and many admirers stateside, the latest information on the State of the Union...
Interest in Republicans Abroad has grown from our communications channels: the website and the Radio program.  We are also now on Facebook and Twitter...
At least 240 high school students with an interest in international relations, leadership and Republicans Abroad, visited our offices on a weekly basis  for six weeks!
This could well be  an example of what can be instituted  worldwide: members of chapters can visit American  high schools and colleges overseas, on a regular basis, (and with our counterparts),  to explain the requirements for  voting, relate information on the parties' platforms, and incite them to get involved in the political process! This can be a very interesting assignment: youngsters are inquisitive and eager for information.  And, sooner or later, they do VOTE! If you are interested in learning about this program and how to go about establishing it for your chapter, contact RA HQ.
We hope all of you have a wonderful Summer and if all goes well, it's Paris in the Fall!!
